About Hearth & Haven Ministries

Our Purpose

Restoring Dignity and Hope

At Hearth & Haven Ministries, we believe a home should be more than just four walls — it should be a refuge. A place of safety. A place that brings us joy and peace. A sacred space where healing can begin. We exist to serve individuals and families who are starting over after seasons of trauma — women escaping domestic violence, survivors of homelessness, those recovering from addiction, families starting over after natural disasters, and others rebuilding their lives.

Through partnerships with local nonprofits and community agencies, we identify people in transition who have secured housing but lack the basic furnishings that make a space livable and comforting. That’s where we come in. Using a combination of furnishings purchased with donated funds, donated goods, gently used furniture, and housewares, we furnish homes at no cost to the recipient. But we don't stop here. We go on and intentionally design a beautiful space that will bring joy, a home they can be proud of — turning empty spaces into places of warmth, dignity, and peace.

This ministry was born by an interior designer with the belief that beauty has power — that thoughtful, nurturing environments can restore a sense peace, worth and stability to those who have lost so much. We want every person we serve to walk into their new space and feel, maybe for the first time in a long time: I matter. I’m safe. I’m home. I have alot to live for.

We are fueled by faith, guided by compassion and Gods leading, and committed to showing His love in tangible, practical ways.

At Hearth & Haven, we’re not just filling rooms — we’re filling lives with hope.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide essential support and a sense of belonging to survivors in their journey to rebuild their lives. Through our collaborative projects and advocacy efforts, we aim to create a community that fosters empowerment, healing, and stability for those in need. Join us in our mission to make a lasting impact on the lives of survivors.

At Hearth & Haven Ministries, we believe a home should be more than four walls — it should be a place of peace, comfort, and renewal. For survivors of domestic abuse, homelessness, or addiction recovery, stepping into a safe space is only the beginning. True healing happens when that space feels warm, welcoming, and worthy of the life they are rebuilding.

Our mission is to furnish and design homes for individuals and families transitioning from crisis, partnering with trusted local agencies to ensure each home meets both practical needs and emotional restoration. We provide not just the essentials — beds, tables, chairs — but also thoughtful touches that turn an empty room into a haven: well thought out interiors and surroundings that speak of dignity, stability, and hope.

Why does this matter?
Research shows that our environment profoundly affects mental health, confidence, and the ability to move forward. A well-designed, beautiful space can reduce stress, promote emotional healing, and restore a sense of self-worth. When someone walks into their new home and sees it thoughtfully prepared for them, it sends a powerful message: You matter. You are valued. You are not alone.

Through the transformative power of design, we aim to give each person more than a furnished home — we give them a foundation for a fresh start and a renewed sense of belonging. Every lamp placed, every pillow fluffed, and every wall adorned is part of a greater story: one of resilience, redemption, and restoration.

Together with our donors, volunteers, and community partners, we are creating havens where healing can begin and hope can flourish.

Our team is composed of dedicated individuals who are deeply passionate about making a difference in the lives of survivors. Together, we bring diverse skills and expertise to our projects, ensuring that our efforts are impactful and sustainable.
